This site is dedicated to people who risked their lives in order to save Anek: Krystyna Ostrowska, Barbara Ostrowska, Irena Rybczynska, Mr. Miszczak and Dr. Wojciech Wiechno.
Anek’s photo of March 1943 removed from an ID issued by “Zjednoczenie”, a label designing and printing workshop owned by the Miszczak family. As will be seen below, the Miszczaks were to play a major role in Anek’s survival.
